Runway foam covering

Covering the runway with foam enables emergency landings to be safer, including reducing aircraft destruction and lowering the risk of ignition of spilled aircraft fuel. The system produces a layer of foam up to 40 cm thick. Control is carried out from the console in the cabin. |
Automatic foam proportion system
 |
The foaming system automatically maintains the operator-specified percentage of water and foam, in proportion to changes in pump performance and speed of the fire truck. The system is controlled remotely from the remote in the cockpit. |
